Server Access Won't save my Log-in Credentials!

I recently purchased a new Lenovo laptop with Win 7 Home Premium. At our office, we have an office server that we all access. My old computer had Windows XP; when I first set it up, I put in my server user name and password, clicked the "save my password" box (or whatever the actual language was.....) and from then on, I could simply click on the server icon and be connected to the server.
