Is this a problem with my wifi card?

So I noticed a few things that are different when I'm on wifi or ethernet. 1. With apple stuff, AirParrot (airplay client) doesn't work unless I'm on ethernet. Same with iTunes. 2. I don't get IPv6 unless I'm on ethernet. 3. I can't stream from Windows Media Player to my xbox unless I'm on ethernet. So why would those only work while I'm on ethernet and not on wifi?
