I had been happily using 5ghz wifi on my latop but wanting greater throughput for network file transfers I managed to finally get an ethernet cable run up into my computer desk. Only problem is I believe the ethernet has slowed the boot down a little. Whereas before I would login and the welcome screen would pass within a second or two I am now seeing it there for 5 to 6 seconds. As...
