Is there out there a small monitoring tool to monitor the online state of some Desktop Windows PCs?
I want to have a small GUI that shows the IP and the status of the machine - like offline(red), tcp/ip online (yellow), fully up desktop(green). But is it possible to determine these states? Without having a special service on th machines?
These Machines running Windows 7.
