I have Windows Media Center set up on Win 7 on one machine. When I got to Network on the 10 machine, the 7 machine is listed, as well as all the drives on it. When I try to open any folder is says I don't have permission to access it. Everything I can find is set to share with everyone, all permissions. Any suggestions?

After fixing the 8 usually invisible WAN miniports under network adapters and un/installing a firewall, now updating the network drivers (OEM drivers are been used) for ethernet and wifi fails.
Ethernet is partially working, but otherwise broken, as protocol/config are not possible anymore on the network adapter, while the wifi driver update fails...

Why is it now taking much longer to re-boot my modem?

Laptop cannot be accessed ONLY on one specific wifi network
Short version:
I have two wifi networks on my main W7 desktop.
I used an old XP laptop as the "Setup Device" when configuring a new Netgear EAX20 as an extender for one of those networks.
Everything went well until the final step, which failed. Now the laptop is somehow prohibited from accessing, or being accessed via the wifi network that I was extending.

Logging error with virtual PDF printer redirection when using RD
When I connect with a remote desktop session I keep logging Event ID 111 - Terminal Services Printer Redirection error. I am using the same version of NovaPDF Creator on both computers. Folder Sharing And File Transfer.

In GPedit i unshared all the Patitions.
While i can transfer files with the right mouse button i can now only copy with the left mouse button.
Is there a way i can restore the system shared folder's to default so i can move a file by dragging with the left mouse button again.
The problem only exists when trying to move between different partition's.

Solved Win7 on acer R3, bluetooth but no wifi

Yesterday I installed Win7 Ultimate from the insomnia crowd. Went OK, but the WIFI adapter is gone without a trace. The only thing I find in the Device Manager are two bluetooth adapters, that can be toggled on or off with the fn+f3 key.
